We invented a new, unique, truly continuous rotary motion process, combining it with precision machined parts, the latest in automation, and many more advanced features.  The patented rotary technology is now redefining the industry for roll forming of metal construction and steel framing drywall stud and track products.

The Rotary Punch and Shear’s speed matching algorithm insures there are no adjustments when switching between part lengths and product sizes.  Unlike mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic punching and cutting systems, B&K’s rotary technology eliminates the need for a die accelerator, and no inexpensive boost cylinders that require constant tweaking.

Rotary Punch

B&K’s Rotary Punch solution implements a new methodology of high speed production, it incorporates a multi-piece tool and die system which is integrated to a continuous motion feeding and measuring system.  Its performance substantially exceeds that of a conventional hole punching press, effortlessly forming across the widest range of material thicknesses.  Tooling shock is reduced by the rotary motion, offering less maintenance and longer die life, resulting in lower operating costs.

Rotary Shear

The new B&K rotary shear incorporates a new, unique design that is not only compact in size but also allows for pre-cutting at the entry end of the rollforming mill.  Its gauge flexibility allows no need for blade clearance adjustments when switching materials.  This precutting method and removing material gauge adjustment defines this as the true universal cutoff and shear solution for drywall and structural stud, track and accessory components from 30 to 10 gauge, unmatched anywhere in the industry.
