Since the first Model T rolled off the assembly line, Yoder has been supplying roll forming solutions for the automotive industry for structural, non-structural and trim components in manufacturing, cars, trucks and related passenger vehicles.
Through The Years
Through the years, roll forming automotive components has evolved with the development of advanced and high strength materials. Since martensitic steels were first used in cars, Yoder was developing the equipment and tooling to meet those unique requirements for roll forming sills, rockers, reinforcements, cross members, roof bows and bumpers.
In addition to structural components, non-structural and trim components are commonly roll formed, such as running boards, corrugated truck bed, seat tracks, window channel guides and pillars. Most recently, Yoder has supplied roll forming solutions for automotive accessories: trailer hitch and roof racks.
